Minimum qualifications:

- Proven experience in data visualization, particularly with Power BI or equivalent visualization tools.
- Strong experience with Python, including familiarity with data preprocessing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing data projects, improving data collection, and optimizing data flow.
- Experience with data modelling, machine learning, and using statistical analysis to solve complex business problems.
Job Description:
As a Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in identifying valuable data sources, automating collection processes, and enhancing data quality. You will play a pivotal role in organizing and analysing large datasets to discover trends and patterns that will inform business decisions. A significant part of your responsibility will be to visualize these findings, creating intuitive and interactive data visualizations that communicate complex data in a clear and impactful way. You will also be responsible for improving data quality and implementing advanced data analysis techniques to support our continuous improvement and innovation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Automate and streamline collection processes to compile large, complex datasets from various sources, enhancing the data quality and utility.
- Employ a variety of preprocessing libraries and techniques in Python to prepare data for analysis.
- Develop and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Utilize a solid understanding of the business to ensure that data practices align with company objectives and contribute to the improvement of data flow and data collection strategies.
- Act as a bridge between the data science team and business units, translating data-driven insights into actionable business initiatives.
- Maintain a robust knowledge of Python, applying best practices to write clean, efficient, and reliable code.
- Continuously engage in learning and development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest data preprocessing methods and visualization technologies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of data literacy and evidence-based decision-making throughout the organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL).
- A deep understanding of the business environment, with the ability to align data projects with business goals.
- 1+ year of experience managing analytical projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver findings of analysis.
- 2+ years of experience with analysis applications (i.e., extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (e.g., Python, SQL).
